The Dons’ impressive run against the top sides will be put to the test this afternoon but George Baldock is hopeful they can maintain that form.

Baldock and co take on Brighton & Hove Albion at stadiummk later today, looking to extend their unbeaten run against teams in the top-half of the table.

The men from MK1 are one point clear of Rotherham United heading into the final nine games of the season but with the Millers enjoying a good stretch of results, the 23-year-old knows the Dons must keep picking up points too.

“If we continue in this vein of form, it will make our lives a lot easier come the end of the season. It’s vitally important that we try and be positive on Saturday and look for those three points.

“Other teams around us are picking up vital points but we’ve just got to concentrate on ourselves. We’ve got a points tally in mind and if we can reach that then we like to think we’ll be alright.”

The Dons have kept two clean-sheets in their last three matches, with the only goal they’ve conceded coming courtesy of a well-taken set-piece from Hull City’ Sam Clucas.

“All the boys have been brilliant. Not just the back four and the goalkeeper but whoever has played up front has set the stall out. They’ve taken to the game plan and pressed well.

“The whole squad has worked so hard because we know that’s what it’s going to take now.

“If we can get another clean sheet on Saturday it would be brilliant.”

Saturday’s fixture will take place in front of a bumper crowd at stadiummk, with the Club hosting its second Family Fun Day of the season.

Over 19,000 tickets have already been sold for the clash and Baldock hopes that will provide the team with an added boost.

“It’s going to be a big crowd and that’s what we want at stadiummk. It’s such a good stadium and the boys love it when it’s packed.

“It will set a good atmosphere for the boys and that’s just what we need.”

Tickets for today's Family Fun Day clash with Brighton are priced from £12 adults and £1 under-18s, while under-12s go FREE with a Young Dons membership - there will also be a host of activity taking place around stadiummk prior to kick-off, with over 50 stalls and attractions attending - click here for more details!
