Karl: End a testing week on a high

18 March 2016

Karl Robinson wants the Dons to put this week’s events behind them and go into the international break on a positive note.

The men from MK1 take on Brighton & Hove Albion at stadiummk on Saturday in their final match before a two-week layoff and the Liverpudlian wants his side to end what has been a testing few days for the Football Club on a high.

“I want fans to put what’s happened this week behind them and support their team,” Robinson told MK Dons PlayerHD.

“The players will give all they’ve got and they’ll need the fans to get behind them. We want to do our fans proud on Saturday.

“Hopefully we can put a performance in which will leave fans talking about the football and feeling proud to support this Football Club.”

since the turn of the year and we’ll look to replicate that on Saturday.” mkstadium “The results against the top teams have been relatively good here at

“(Brighton) are right in the mix for automatic promotion so we’re coming up against one of the best teams in the league, again in such a short space of time.

“The players are going to go into the game full of confidence because the results we’ve had recently have given us a platform to look forward.

Since the clash with Burnley back in January, the Dons are unbeaten against teams in the top-half of the Sky Bet Championship table and although Robinson is wary of how difficult an opponent Brighton will be, he is hopeful his side’s recent form can continue.
