Jonny Williams and Simon Church were both featured for Wales on Thursday evening, with the latter netting a late penalty to earn his side a draw against Northern Ireland.
On-loan midfielder was bright in the centre of the park and he and Church went close to creating an equaliser, before the Dons striker was fouled inside the area in stoppage time.
Church stepped up to take the penalty himself and confidently struck home from 12-yards to secure a draw for Wales and take his international goal tally up to three.
Lee Hodson was among the substitutes for Northern Ireland, who took the lead thanks to a Craig Cathcart goal in the second half.
Williams, Church and Wales now travel to Kiev for their penultimate friendly ahead of this summer’s European Championship, while Lee Hodson’s Northern Ireland host Slovenia in Belfast. Both games take place on Monday night.
