Baldock set for brother battle

18 March 2016

George Baldock will know more than most about Saturday's opponents Brighton & Hove Albion.

Baldock has seen the Seagulls in action numerous times this season in support of his brother Sam, who made 124 appearances for the men from MK1 and is now part of the Brighton side that will visit stadiummk this weekend.

“I’ve watched them a few times because of Sam and they are very good, organised team,” the right-back told MK Dons PlayerHD. “I’m not surprised they are up there this year.”

“Their two centre midfielders are, in my eyes, arguably two of the best in the league. They are solid and resolute too.

“They have very good attacking threats and although it’s been documented that they haven’t scored too many goals this season, they’re second and you can’t be second for nothing.”

Tickets for Saturday's Family Fun Day clash with Brighton are priced from £12 adults and £1 under-18s, while under-12s go FREE with a Young Dons membership - there will also be a host of activity taking place around stadiummk prior to kick-off, with over 50 stalls and attractions attending - click here for more details!

“Hopefully, though, we can come out on top this time, instead of a draw where he scores two.”

“We’ve done it before so I certainly won’t be thinking of it any differently this time. Maybe the first time we played together it was a bit special but this time it’s just another game and I’m in a much better position than I was back then.

This will be the third time the two Baldock brothers have gone head-to-head following on from the two League 1 clashes back in the 2013/14 when Sam was playing for Bristol City - both the previous mettings ended 2-2, with the elder sibling netting a brace on each occasion.
