Friday 3 June
Shrews sign duo
Shrewsbury Town have signed defender Ryan McGivern and striker AJ Leitch-Smith from League One rivals Port Vale.

Leitch-Smith was the Valiants' top scorer in 2015-16 with 12 goals in 43 games but rejected a contract offer at Vale Park, while Northern Ireland international McGivern was released despite playing 32 times last term.

Also, Swiss goalkeeper Jayson Leutwiler has signed a new two-year deal with the Shropshire side.

Cod Army retain Pond
Fleetwood Town's long-serving defender Nathan Pond has signed a new one-year contract.

Meanwhile, the Cod Army have released 14 players including Shola Ameobi, Stephen Jordan and Jamille Matt.

Thursday 2 June
Sheff Utd make double signing
Sheffield United have signed defender Chris Hussey and winger Mark Duffy.

Duffy, who spent last season on loan at promoted Burton Albion, will join on 1st July following his release from Birmingham City. He was named in the PFA League One Team of the Year in 2015/16 after scoring eight goals in 45 games.

Meanwhile, centre-back Hussey has moved to Bramall Lane after a nominal fee was agreed between the Blades and Bury for his services.

Wednesday 1 June
Walsall appoint Whitney as manager
Walsall have appointed Jon Whitney as their first-team manager on a three-year deal.

The 45-year-old guided the Saddlers to a third-place finish in League One last season, after taking over in March.

Former Walsall defender Dean Holden has agreed to become first-team coach at Banks’s Stadium and will join Whitney’s existing backroom team of Neil Cutler and John Ward.

Tuesday 31 May
Bantams make changes
Bradford City announced that six players will leave Valley Parade following their unsuccessful Play-Off campaign.

Christopher Routis, Steven Davis, Billy Knott, Alan Sheehan, Dylan Mottley-Henry and Sam Wright will leave the Bantams this summer, with Routis and Sheehan moving to Ross County and Luton Town respectively.

Joe Brennan, meanwhile, will remain with City, as will Daniel Devine if he accepts the one-year deal offered to him by the club.

Dale sign defender from Scunthorpe
Niall Canavan will join Rochdale on a two-year deal following his departure from League One rivals Scunthorpe United.

The 25-year-old centre-back spent time at Spotland on an emergency loan last season but has now agreed a permanent move to Dale.

AFC Wimbledon make first summer signing
AFC Wimbledon followed up winning promotion by making Darius Charles’ loan deal permanent.

The defender was on loan at Kingsmeadow last season and joins from Burton Albion.

Monday 30 May
League One teams confirmed
AFC Wimbledon beat Plymouth Argyle 1-0 in the Sky Bet League Two Play-Off final to book the final place in League One for the 2016/17 campaign.

However, Yorkshire outfit Barnsley won’t be in the division next season after winning their Play-Off final against Millwall.

Millwall release four
Following their Play-Off final defeat at Wembley Stadium, Millwall released four players including midfielder Ed Upson, who agreed a two-year deal with MK Dons later in the week.

Carlos Edwards, Lee Martin and John Marquis are the three other players who will depart the New Den at the end of their contracts.

Meanwhile, the Lions have taken up the 12-month options in the contracts of defenders Byron Webster and Joe Martin.
