Ed feels at home at Stadium MK

29 June 2016

Ed Upson feels he is settling well at Stadium MK, following his move from Millwall.

The midfielder agreed a two-year deal with MK Dons back in May but had to wait until this week, when the squad returned from their summer break, to begin life as a Dons player.

“It’s been good so far,” Upson told MK Dons PlayerHD. “Hopefully I can settle in quickly and begin concentrating on my football.

“I’m still getting to know my way around the place and where the dressing rooms are – I’m sure I’ll get lost a few more times this week!”

He continued: “As players we want to get the running out of the way as soon as possible and just get the ball out – I’m certainly looking forward to having a touch of the ball again.”

Upson could make his first Stadium MK appearance as a Dons player on Tuesday 26th July, when the men from MK1 host Everton in a pre-season friendly.

Tickets for the friendly are priced from £12 adults and £3 under-18s, while Season Ticket holders are entitled to discounted prices - click here for full details!

“It was nice to get it done early so I didn’t have the worry of where I was going to be during my holidays – with getting my future sorted so early I was also able to keep myself in good condition.”

“It was, 100 percent, the right decision to come here. I’m ready for this new challenge and I can’t wait to get going properly.

Upson’s switch to Stadium MK came about just days after his release from Millwall at the end of their 2015/16 campaign but the 26-year-old says he has no regrets about making a quick decision to join the Dons.
