MK Dons’ assistant public catering manager Sophie Standen was named Star For The Future at the Stadium Events & Hospitality Awards 2016.
The prestigious event, held by Stadium Experience, aimed to recognise the efforts and dedication shown by the catering, conference and events teams at every football and rugby stadiums across the UK.
MK Dons were represented in four categories including, Star For The Future – an award for an individual who shines daily and will one be day leading a team of their own.
Sophie saw off competition from other nominees at clubs such as Newcastle Falcons Rugby Club and Leicester Tigers Rugby Club.
The other three categories in which the Dons were nominated were Operations Team of the Year Award (Newcastle Falcons Rugby Club), Best Sales or Marketing Initiative Award (Sunderland Football Club) and Directors Choice Award (Reading Football Club).
