The Dons will end their league campaign away from home for the first time since 2012/13.
The men from MK1 also faced the Saddlers on the final day of the season in May 2010 but were beaten 2-1 that afternoon courtesy of goals from Manny Smith and Matt Richards either side of a Daniel Powell finish.
However, that’s the only time the Dons have ever lost their final game when it’s been played away from home – they won three of their four other road closers, scoring five goals and conceded just two.
Prior to their visit to the West Midlands, the Dons will have to overcome the likes of Swindon Town, Scunthorpe United, Southend United and Sheffield United – the clash with the Blades being the side’s final game at Stadium MK.
