McFadzean seals move

12 July 2016

Kyle McFadzean has joined Sky Bet Championship side Burton Albion for an undisclosed fee.

The 29-year-old has signed a three-year deal with the Brewers, who will compete in the second tier of English football for the first time in their history in 2016/17.

McFadzean made 93 appearances and scored four goals during a two-year stay at Stadium MK, after arriving from Crawley Town in the summer of 2014.

Manager Karl Robinson told “I’m deeply disappointed to lose Kyle. We had meetings with him in the summer – he knows what our ambitions are for next season and going forward but he’s decided his future lies elsewhere.

“It’s been a testing time but we’ve been strong and stuck to our principles – showing respect to our players and our fans. This deal is in the best interest of the Football Club.”
