Dons youngster to represent Wales in August

4 July 2016

MK Dons youngster James Holmes has been chosen to represent South Wales Boys at the Cymru Cup tournament in August.

The tournament, which takes place over two days at Dragon Park in Newport, is comprised of four teams which feature players representing clubs from different regions of the UK.

This will be the second time in 2016 that Holmes has represented Wales – the 13-year-old striker played in the Regional Boys 2002 fixture back in May.

Holmes is the second Dons player to receive international recognition within the past week, following on from Jack Davies’ inclusion in an England Under-15s training camp.

All the best, James!
