Dons off to Dublin!

MK Dons fly out to Dublin today ahead of their week-long pre-season camp in the Irish capital.

Karl Robinson’s men have been hard at work since their return late last month and earlier this week completed the first set of three-session days.


They will begin the second block of three training days on Thursday, running through until Saturday.

Each day will include three sessions designed to improve the players’ fitness – stamina work on the beach, football-based sessions on the pitch and further strength and conditioning training in the gym.

!Snapchat and Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, MK Dons PlayerHD, will be flying out to join the team on Monday, meaning there will be full coverage of all three friendlies across the Club’s channels –

Their final friendly will take place on Wednesday – this match will be played behind-closed-doors against an unnamed opponent.

They will then travel to Hunky Dory Park on Tuesday evening to take on Irish Premiership outfit Drogheda United –kick-off is also 7.45pm.

After a recovery day on Sunday, the Dons will play three matches across three days, starting with their annual clash against St. James’s Gate at the Iveagh Grounds on Monday 11th – kick-off 7.45pm.
