The January transfer window is open for business and manager Karl Robinson is busy at work.
“It’s been very busy,” said the 35-year-old. “People will go out first and then we’ll aim to bring in people who we feel will benefit us, ultimately to make our starting XI better.
“We’ve really got to go out there and find people with Championship experience, ideally, and drive us forward.
“My job is to try and find players that will suit us – there’s one or two that we’ve spoken to.”
He concluded: “January is always difficult. We have to make sure this Club remains sustainable but so we are also competitive. Those two have to balance out.
“We are a new football club making tremendous strides and it’s important we do things in the right way.”
