Randall leaves the Dons

14 January 2016

Mark Randall has left the Dons after the two parties mutually agreed to end his contract, paving the way for the midfielder to join Barnet.

Randall, who spent time on loan at stadiummk during his days with Arsenal, re-joined the men from MK1 in March 2014 and made 17 appearances, 13 of which came during last season’s promotion-winning campaign.

Speaking to mkdons.com, manager Karl Robinson said: “Mark is a great boy who has been through a difficult time recently. He’s also found it tough with the injuries so I feel he needs to go and get a fresh start – he goes with my support.

“I like him as a person and I think he’s an extremely gifted footballer. He’s always had a good demeanour about him and I want to thank him for efforts and his patience.”

He continued: “I have to make one or two difficult decisions this month and this is one of them. I wish him all the best for the future.”

The Club would like to thank Mark for his contribution during his time at stadiummk and wish him every success in the future.
