The Dons can confirm that Diego Poyet has returned to parent club West Ham United.
Dons boss Karl Robinson said: “We had a great conversation last week. It didn’t really work with him playing alongside Darren Potter. They are both top players but everyone knows how important Darren is to us.
“I love developing young players and it’s not fair on him as a young player, not getting as many minutes as he would like. He’s got every opportunity to be a Premier League player but he needs games and I’m never going to stand in the way of a young player doing that.”
Poyet, via his Twitter account, added: “Thank you to everyone at MK for my loan, I thoroughly enjoyed it and wish the club all the best for the rest of the season.”
The Club would like to thank Diego for his contribution during his time at stadiummk and wish him the very best for the future.
