JFC: Stand up and respond

25 January 2016

Jake Forster-Caskey insists he and his teammates must respond to Saturday’s disappointing loss at Bolton Wanderers.

The Dons failed to extend their winning run to three games after a 3-1 reverse at the Macron Stadium, a game in which they failed to ever really get going.

“We need to look at ourselves as there is no one else to blame,” Forster-Caskey told MK Dons PlayerHD. “There are no excuses, it was a poor performance and we want to apologise to the fans that travelled.

“I don’t think anybody saw this coming. After the last two performances we went into this with confidence. We conceded an early goal which doesn’t help but there are no excuses, it was poor.

“We had enough in that dressing room to win the game or at least take a point so we’re all disappointed.”

He continued: “We need to stand up. Every game is going to be massive for us and we need to try and take as many points as we can now. We need to give more.”

The Dons travel to Cardiff City in their next Sky Bet Championship clash on Saturday 6th February - tickets are priced at £21 adults, £16 over-60s, £13 16-21 year-olds and £13 under-16s.
