Martin full of belief ahead of Boro

8 February 2016

David Martin is hoping the Dons can build on the hard-earned point at Cardiff City by picking up another positive result against Middlesbrough.

The men from MK1 entertain second-placed Boro at stadiummk on Tuesday and although they go into the clash as underdogs, Martin believes the team are good enough to compete with any side on their day, especially on home soil.

“It’s a tough league but we go into each game full of belief because on our day we are good enough to win,” Martin told MK Dons PlayerHD after Saturday’s draw.

“It’s great to go into games against the teams at the top. They drew (on Saturday) so hopefully if they are having a bit of a dip then we can take advantage of that. We’ll go through their clips, trying to find their strengths and weaknesses.”

“In front of me the boys did magnificent just sitting in. We limited them to chances. They probably had the two most clear cut chances but fortunately I was there to make the saves. You enjoy a clean sheet away from home.”
