Karl Robinson says his Dons side must learn lessons from their gutting 3-2 defeat to Blackburn Rovers on Saturday.
However, Jordi Gomez netted a stoppage time free-kick to secure all three points for his side and ensure the Dons left Lancashire empty-handed.
“I'm gutted,” said Robinson. “Coming away from home and scoring twice, you expect to get something. We dominated for large parts and we’ve come away with nothing.
“We just switched off and we conceded from three set pieces. We need to learn from that.
“It's disappointing to have led in both the last two games and come away with just a point. It's just game understanding we've got to learn.
“We've got to stand up and be counted now.”
He continued: “We're not in the relegation zone, and that's the most important thing. We've got some big games still to play, and I'm not getting too dismissive or downhearted.
“We've got to get behind the team and we need to believe.”
