JET relishing Robins reunion

19 February 2016

Jay Emmanuel-Thomas is looking forward to facing the side he won promotion with last season, this Saturday at stadiummk.

Emmanuel-Thomas scored 12 goals for Bristol City in 2014/15 to help them claim the Sky Bet League 1 title.

However, now as member of Karl Robinson’s Dons side, the striker will be looking to find the net against the Robins and boost his loan club’s chances of securing Championship status by picking up a valuable three points.

“I’m looking forward to seeing some familiar faces but I’m only interested in helping the Dons get what would be an important result,” Emmanuel-Thomas told DOTRED in an exclusive interview.

“I got my fair share of goals while I was there so it was obviously a really good time for me. I had a great relationship with the players and a great relationship with the fans but my attention is on here now and I want to help MK Dons stay in the Championship.”

Read the full interview with Emmanuel-Thomas in Saturday’s edition ofDOTRED, which will be available for £3 from sellers around stadiummk and the Club Store ahead of kick-off.

The 25-year-old talks about his time at Ashton Gate as well as his first few weeks in Milton Keynes. He also reveals that he didn’t begin his career as a striker – find out where he played as an Arsenal youngster in Saturday’s
