6 December 2016

More than 70 school children enjoyed a football roadshow with MK Dons players recently at Aylesbury Grammar School.

The youngsters took part in skills sessions run by four MK Dons Sport and Education Trust before being treated to a both a Q&A and autograph session with Dons quartet George B Williams, Jack Hendry, Brandon Thomas-Asante and Oran Jackson.

George B Williams told mkdons.com: “I had a great time. It was great to meet so many enthusiastic children - I don’t think I’ve ever been in so many selfies!

Thomas-Asante was also glad to visit Aylesbury Grammar School – he said: ‘Everybody was so welcoming and it was a good turnout.

“A lot of the kids said they were coming down for the AFC Wimbledon game, so I’ll be sure to look out for them!

Their sentiments were echoed by MK Dons SET community delivery manager Jack Sharp: “It’s great to come out and work with children from the local community.

“It’s a high priority for a club like MK Dons and we’re grateful for Aylesbury Grammar School for hosting us.”
