Neilson: Keep building momentum

16 December 2016

After two wins from two at Stadium MK, Robbie Neilson wants MK Dons to maintain their good form at Gillingham this weekend.

The men from MK1 travel to Kent on Saturday looking to build on the victories over AFC Wimbledon and Charlton Athletic in Neilson’s first two home matches in charge and record a third successive triumph.

“It has been a decent start and I want to carry it on at Gillingham,” Neilson said ahead of the trip to the MEMS Priestfield Stadium.

He continued: “We just need to keep up the momentum by winning. The players want to win, that's why they play- it's the ultimate goal.”

“(Gillingham) are a good team. They're strong through the middle of the park so it will be tough but it's a game we hope to go and win.”

“It'll be a huge game for us. It's alright doing it at home but going away are the games that decide whether you finish mid-table or at the bottom. Tickets for the clash with Gillingham can now only be bought on Saturday at the MEMS Priestfield Stadium, priced from £10 adults, £5 over-65s/under-18s and FREE for under-12s.
