An MK Dons XI take on Liverpool Under-21s at Stadium MK this evening, in the Club’s final outing before the 2016/17 season gets underway.
Kick-off is at 7.45pm.
THE OPPOSITION
With the first team away on tour, the Liverpool squad due to arrive at Stadium MK tonight will be a youthful one but that doesn’t mean there won’t be plenty of talent on show.
One player who could be involved is winger Harry Wilson, who is the youngest player to make a senior appearance for Wales – a record he took off Gareth Bale after featuring in a friendly against Belgium.
Connor Masterson, Ben Woodburn and Toni Gomes are among the other names to watch out for in tonight’s friendly.
TEAM NEWS
Robinson is expected to use this evening’s game to give minutes to his young professionals, with the squad set to be similar to the one that faced Brackley Town last week.
Also, with the Under-18s back from their pre-season training camp in Portugal, the majority of Mike Dove’s group are also set to be involved.
One senior pro who may feature, however, is goalkeeper David Martin after his missed Saturday’s match to Stevenage due to illness.
