Dons out to defy the odds

19 August 2016

MK Dons will be up against it at Rochdale but that isn’t denting Karl Robinson’s confidence in his side to pick up a positive result.

Robinson will be without Darren Potter and another unnamed key player on Saturday, while three others didn’t make the trip to Greater Manchester with the rest of the team due to illness.

However, the 35-year-old boss insists he and his Dons side will be going into the clash at the Crown Oil Arena clash with the right mentality.

Robinson told MK Dons PlayerHD: "We’re going there threadbare so we're just going to have to try our best.

He added: “We go to Rochdale fully-motivated and fully-determined to get a result.”

“We need to accept this because we can’t control the uncontrollables. I always said that these first six or seven games will be a testing time for us – we need to stick together and move forward.

“We have our game plan although that has drastically changed now. Our job now is to get enough information into the players who will have to come in.
Tickets for MK Dons' clash at Rochdale can now only be bought, cash only, at the Crown Oil Arena - they are priced at £22 adults, £16 seniors/young persons and £5 juniors.
