Kieran Agard’s debut double earned MK Dons a point against Millwall and the striker a place in The Football League Paper’s Team of the Day.
Agard, who joined the Football Club for a club-record fee last Thursday, netted twice in five minutes to help his new side come back from a two-nil deficit and draw in their Sky Bet League One home opener.
Other players included in the Team of the Day were David Wheater at Bolton Wanderers, Coventry City’s Kyel Reid and Northampton Town midfielder John-Joe O’Toole.
The 26-year-old has also been named in Shoot magazine’s League One Player of the Weekend.
Shoot named Bolton there Team of the Weekend, while Kevin Van Veen’s strike for Scunthorpe United against Fleetwood Town was selected as Goal of the Weekend.
