Revell relishing Rotherham battle

8 April 2016

Alex Revell is fully aware of how important Saturday’s crucial clash with Rotherham United is for the Dons.

Revell and Co are six points adrift of the Millers with as many games left to play, so a victory at stadiummk this weekend would certainly boost the men from MK1’s Sky Bet Championship survival chances.

“We have no option but to approach it as a big game because we know we have to win,” Revell, a former Millers striker, exclusively told DOTRED. “We need to go into it knowing how important it is for everyone at the Football Club.

“We have to commit absolutely everything we’ve got and if we do that, then hopefully the gap will be down to three points.

“If we can match those good performances that we’ve put in at times this year and also match the desire, the passion and the work-rate then I’m confident we can come out on top.”

Read the full interview with Revell in Saturday’s edition of REDDOT, which will be available for £3 from sellers around stadiummk and the Box Office/Club Superstore.

As well as discussing the importance of this weekend’s game, the popular forward also talks about his time with Rotherham, including his stunning strike in the League 1 play-off final at Wembley Stadium.
