Over 200 people take part in Ability Counts Big Day

25 April 2016

The Dons held their Ability Counts Big Day on Saturday and it included a parade of over 200 participants.

Ability Counts Big Day, which aimed to promote the facilities available at stadiummk to supporters with disabilities, began with teams from the Dons, Brentford, Southampton and Norwich City taking part in fun football activities at Woughton on the Green.

The sessions highlighted the work undertaken by the MK Dons Sport and Education Trust (SET), including its incredible 20 disability teams.

The sides then travelled to stadiummk for the Sky Bet Championship clash with Brentford- players from the Dons’ disability teams formed a guard of honour for the first-team ahead of kick-off.

Then, at half-time, over 200 participants performed a half-time parade around the pitch and they were well received by supporters in the ground.
