Forster-Caskey refuses to give up

12 April 2016

Jake Forster-Caskey appreciates the Dons are in a difficult place but insists he and his team-mates will continue fighting.

Forster-Caskey & Co face an uphill task to maintain their Championship status with the men from MK1 nine points from safety.

However, the midfielder was in bullish mood when speaking after the defeat to Rotherham United.

“It’s a tough one to take but there are no excuses, we weren’t good enough,” he said:

“We weren’t really at it in the first half. We did okay in the second but overall it was poor. We’ve just got to move onto the next one.”

He added: “We’ve still got a chance. Mathematically we can still stay up. We’ve got to stay positive even though we’re all down after Saturday’s result. We’ve just got to go again.”

The Dons will hope to respond this Saturday when they visit Deepdale to take on Preston North End - tickets are priced from £24 adults and £8 juniors, while travel is available from £20 adults and £19 all other supporters. To purchase tickets click here, visit the Box Office at stadiummk/kiosk at centre:mk or call 0333 200 5343.
