The Dons have been nominated in four categories at the Stadium Events & Hospitality Awards 2016.
The Club’s Catering team have been shortlisted for the Operations Team of the Year award for their work during this season’s Sky Bet Championship campaign, as well as the Rugby World Cup.
They have also been nominated for the Best Sales or Marketing Initiative Award. The team have implemented unique ideas such as Feed the Fans, where supporters were treated to a FREE breakfast before an away fixture and the Disabled pledge, which is an in-seat service available to disabled supporters. They also provided fans with a chance to create their own product – the Concrete Cow ale pie!
Sophie Standen, Assistant Public Catering Manager, is up for the Star for the Future Award, while stadiummk has also been selected by visiting club’s directors for the Director’s Choice Award.
The awards, sponsored by Heineken, will take place at the Ricoh Arena on Thursday 2nd June.
