Spence wants stadiummk success

18 September 2015

Jordan Spence believes it would be fitting if the side were to get back to winning ways on their return to stadiummk this Saturday.

The Dons entertain Leeds United on the weekend, keen to build on two positive road performances at Middlesbrough and Burnley – displays which, unfortunately, weren’t rewarded by any points.

“It’ll be good to be back at stadiummk,” Spence told reddot. “Leeds are a club steeped in history and they have a great football tradition but we’re keen to go out there and prove that we can beat them.

“We’ve lost twice at home this season and that’s not something that sits well with us because we’re not used to losing here. We need to make sure we build on that Bolton win here last month and hopefully we can get back to winning ways!”

He continued: “We’re confident because we’ve been in every football match so far and we’ve not been blown away by anybody. We’ve competed against everyone  and although that’s no consolation when you’re coming away with nothing to show for it it does show that we’ve stepped up to this level."

Read the full interview with Spence in Saturday’s edition of reddot which will be available to buy from the Club Store and sellers around the ground for just £3. The right-back also discusses his own impressive form, the competition for places in defence and the team’s performance in front of goal this season.
