Karl Robinson believes his side’s clash with Middlesbrough this afternoon will prove to be one of the toughest tests of the season.
“It is one of our toughest away games of the season,” boss Robinson told MK Dons PlayerHD. “They are one of the big three at this level and there are certain elements to their game that we know will be very difficult to contain.
“We’re going there without members of our starting XI which will make things difficult, especially with the side they possess and the quality that they have. It’s going to be hard but it means tactically we have to get it right.
“We have a game plan which we’ve worked hard on all week and hopefully the players will have taken things on board so they can put it right on the pitch. We know where we are in the food chain for this one but the players’ desire will be at its maximum as it always is.”
He continued: “It’s a great game to come back to after the international break – a tough game but one we’re really looking forward to.”
Tickets for today’s clash with Middlesbrough are now only available to buy from 1.30pm at the Riverside Stadium, cash only, priced at £32 for adults, £24 for over-65s and £17 for under-18s.
