Nicky Maynard is relishing the opportunity to get back playing and scoring goals with the Dons.
The striker moved to stadiummk on a deal until the end of the season earlier this week and made his debut off the bench in the Capital One Cup tie with Southampton on Wednesday.
“I’m made up that I’ve managed to come to a great team that play some great football in a great stadium under a fantastic manager,” Maynard told MK Dons PlayerHD. “Hopefully I can bring some goals to the team and we can push further up the league.
“I feel good but you can always be a bit fitter. Since the start of the season I’ve not played any games other than the 30 minutes I got in midweek but hopefully that will put me in good stead for the next few games.
“It wasn’t nice being without a club as the season started so I was made-up to get on the pitch on Wednesday. I’m itching to get going properly now and hopefully score a lot of goals for this Club.”
