Hitch starts again for Stevenage

14 September 2015

Tom Hitchcock made his second straight start for Stevenage in their 2-2 draw with York City on Saturday.

The striker, who has extended his loan at the Lamex Stadium until mid-October, played 70 minutes for the Boro and was on the pitch while they scored their two goals.

Also involved in Sky Bet League 2 action on the weekend was George Baldock, who maintained his record of playing every minute of Oxford United’s season.

Baldock continued at right-back for the U’s, who were beaten 1-0 away at Northampton Town in what was their first defeat of the 2015/16 campaign.

Meanwhile, Kabongo Tshimanga featured from the start in Corby Town’s National League North clash with FC United of Manchester.

The young striker was making his seventh appearance for the Steelmen but couldn’t prevent them suffering a 1-0 loss.

In the Emirates FA Cup first-round qualifying round, Ben Tilney made his senior debut for Histon as they were beaten by Aveley.
