Dons dealt injury blows

10 September 2015

The Dons will be without six players for Saturday’s trip to Middlesbrough, including midfielder Darren Potter who has sustained a knee injury.

Potter has been ever-present in the league so far this season but is now expected to be sidelined for four to six weeks after injuring his knee during a training session.

Cody Cropper also has picked up a knee injury and underwent surgery earlier this week to rectify the issue - he is expected to be out for up to six weeks.

Dale Jennings (knee) is the other fresh injury concern for Robinson, who is also still without the services of Ben Reeves (hamstring) and long-term absentees Joe Walsh (knee) and Mark Randall (pelvis).

Speaking to MK Dons PlayerHD, the Liverpudlian said: “After the game last Saturday, Pottsy turned his knee over in training and he’ll be a big loss to us.

“Cody had an operation on his knee and will be out for a similar period of time as Pottsy, Dale also injured his knee in training the other day and we’ve still got Reevsy, Walshy and Randers all out as well.

He continued: “They are all big losses to us but the players who are fit have worked extremely hard this week heading into two of our toughest away games of the season.
