The Dons hosted three events in the Leighton-Linslade area in the build-up to town’s Big Day, which took place at stadiummk on Saturday.
That was followed by a visit to Vandyke Upper School for a Children’s Roadshow. Over 60 children aged between eight and 13 enjoyed a coaching session from MK Dons SET coaches, while they also got to meet Sergio Aguza, Cristian Benavante, Samir Carruthers and Rob Hall.
Then, on Thursday evening, executive director Andrew Cullen, Karl Robinson and Diego Poyet attended Leighton Town Football Club for a Fans Forum.
The trio spent close to two hours answering a number of the questions from the sold-out crowd, with topics ranging from the Dons’ transfer business to the side’s current form in the Championship.
The Club would like to thank Vandyke Upper School and Leighton Football Club for their hospitality, as well as all those who attended all three events.
Finally, as part of Leighton-Linslade Big Day, representatives of the Leighton Buzzard branch of Macmillan Cancer collected at stadiummk on Saturday and raised £602.45.
