Darren Potter, Dean Bowditch, Cody Cropper and Mark Randall all featured in a behind-closed-doors friendly with Peterborough United on Tuesday afternoon.
Cropper, meanwhile, has been out of action since early September with a knee injury but made it through the entirety of the clash at Woughton on the Green. Randall played 57 minutes in his second game back from a long-term pelvic issue.
The match finished 6-1 to the visitors, with the Dons’ only goal of the game coming courtesy of Daniel Powell after six minutes.
First-team coach Keith Andrews told mkdons.com: "It was good to see Cody, Darren, Dean and Mark get minutes under their belt - it was probably one of the only positives out of the game after losing by the margin we did. Bowds, in particular, set the tone for a lot of things we did in the first half."
Lee Hodson, Harry Hickford, Sergio Aguza, Giorgio Rasulo, Sam Gallagher, Cristian Benavente and Tom Hitchcock were the other first-teamers involved in the friendly.
