Josh Murphy says the Dons will be eager to bounce back from their disappointing loss in midweek when they travel to QPR this weekend.
“We’re all gutted because frankly, it wasn’t good enough,” Murphy told MK Dons PlayerHD immediately after Tuesday’s defeat. “The way we played wasn’t like a normal MK Dons team.
“The bunch of lads here aren’t the type to dwell on results, though. We’re just going to have to go again on Saturday and show everybody what we’re about.
“We’ve got good players and we’re a hard-working team. We’re going to dust ourselves down, go again and hopefully pick up three points at QPR.”
Murphy, who is spending the 2015/16 on loan at stadiummk from Norwich City, made his ninth appearance for the club in midweek and the 20-year-old winger, who has two goals and four assists to his name, is eager to build on his impressive start.
“I’m loving my football here and I’m really enjoying it,” he added. “My aim was to come here, play games, create chances and score goals and I feel I’ve done that so far – hopefully I can continue.”
Over 900 Dons fans will be making the trip to QPR on Saturday – tickets are priced from £27 adults, £18 over-60s/16-21s and £12 under-16s while under-8s can go FREE in the Upper Tier Silver.
