Duo out to build on display

20 October 2015

Ben Reeves and Simon Church were the goalscorers in Saturday’s win over Blackburn Rovers and the duo now want to build on that triumph against Huddersfield Town.

Reeves’ brace and Church’s second-half header saw the Dons finally rewarded for a terrific home performance and the three points earned moved them up to 16th in the Sky Bet Championship table, level on points with tonight’s opponents, the Terriers.

“We’re really happy,” Church told MK Dons PlayerHD after Saturday’s victory at stadiummk. “On the back of the last result and they break we’ve had, we wanted to come into this game and start well for this stretch and that was the perfect way to do it.

“I know it sounds a bit robotic but we’ve now just got to look at the next game and look to pick up points there. It’s a game we’ll go into with a lot of confidence with the way we’ve been playing and off the back of (Blackburn) we’re going there to win obviously.”

Midfielder Reeves added: “It was back to playing how we feel like we normally play. As a team performance, it was good enough to get the three points – hopefully we can keep the run going now.”

Tickets for tonight's clash with Huddersfield Town can be bought at the John Smith's Stadium, priced at only £10 for adults and £5 for under-18s.
