Bowds: Dons remain buoyant

31 October 2015

Dean Bowditch says the Dons will look to draw inspiration from their last home fixture when they take on Hull City at stadiummk later today.

A fortnight ago the men from MK1 ran out convincing 3-0 victors over Blackburn Rovers in one of the results and performances of the season and they’ll be hoping for similar success when they take on the Tigers at 3pm.

“Before the last two games we had a spell where we were outstanding,” Bowditch told MK Dons PlayerHD. "The Blackburn game was one of those. Yes, they went down to 10 men but I don’t think that would have really mattered. It was three in the end but it could have been more.

“If we can build on that and use it going into the game on Saturday, it can give us a bit of confidence.”

Unfortunately for the Dons they haven’t been able to add to their points tally since that victory over Blackburn but Bowditch is confident the side will return to winning ways because of their maintained positivity.

“You have to stay positive. This year has been difficult but we’ve got some lads in (dressing room) who are keeping things lively and keeping everybody on their toes.

“The lads are buzzing on the training pitch and in the dressing room. If we keep that mentality up then the tide will change and we’ll start winning games, I’m sure.”

Tickets for today's Family Fun Day clash are priced from £12 adults and £1 under-18s, while under-12s can go FREE with a Young Dons membership.
