Robbo proud of his Dons

2 November 2015

Karl Robinson was proud of his players’ performance in their Sky Bet Championship clash with Hull City.

The Dons produced another strong display in front of the stadiummk crowd on Saturday but left empty-handed courtesy of a controversial opener from Ahmed Elmohamady and a late Mohammed Diame finish.

“I’m proud of the players,” Robinson told MK Dons PlayerHD. “Our players have put a shirt on and worn it with pride. All anybody can ask is that you work hard and all of the players were sensational. My players deserve more than what we’ve got.

“That’s the best team we’ve played in terms of their squad. We’re not only miles away from them, we’re planets away but they brought their two strikers off towards the end and that just shows how well we played.

“We are frustrated with certain components still but my players put a wonderful show on,” he continued. “I’m proud of the fans too, I thought they were sensational and it didn’t half galvanise us.”

Robinson’s Dons will be looking to bounce back on Tuesday when they entertain Charlton Athletic at stadiummk – adults can buy two tickets for just £40 while under-18s can attend for £7 and under-12s can go FREE with a Young Dons membership.
