Lewie: Plenty of points to play for

20 November 2015

Saturday’s clash with Fulham signals the start of a busy period and skipper Dean Lewington says the Dons are ready.

The fixture at stadiummk, part of the Club’s annual Armed Forces Day, will be both sides’ first for two weeks following the international break.

“We haven’t got another international break until March so this is the real nitty gritty part of the season now,” he told red dot.

“This is a part of the season where the games will come thick and fast and there will be a lot of points on offer.

“We’ve got so many games coming up though and we want to try and get on a run, pick up as many points as we can and try to move up the table.”

He added: “We’ve got some good games coming up, starting with Fulham, who were a side that were close to me in terms of where I grew up.

“It’s a game I’ve been looking forward to since the fixtures came out and this is a nice one for me.”

Pick up a copy of red dot on Saturday to read the full interview with the skipper, as well as columns from Karl Robinson and Andy Cullen, plus much, much more! Priced at £3, copies are available from the usual outlets around the stadium, including the Box Ofiice and concourse kiosks.
