MK Dons have been promoted to the Sky Bet Championship for the first time.
Karl Robinson’s side secured their place in the second tier of English football with a 5-1 victory over Yeovil Town at stadiummk.
The men from MK1 also needed a result to go in their favour in the match involving Preston North End and Colchester United and it did – the Lilywhites lost 1-0 at Weston Homes Community Stadium.
The Dons are promoted in second place on 91 points, having scored 101 league goals while conceding just 44.
