The Dons have achieved another milestone with season tickets surpassing the 6,000 mark.
Four new recruits pushed the Club over the figure which is 40% up on this stage last year, with Russell Shaw, accompanied by his wife Wendy, and their son Tom as well as Jason Brown and Lindsay Swan securing their seats in East Premium and clubRed respectively.
The four put pen to paper on their deals for the 2015/16 campaign after attending a FREE tour of stadiummk, which are available every Wednesday at 4.30pm and 6.30pm throughout the summer.
Over 1,300 season tickets have been snapped up since promotion to the Sky Bet Championship was achieved - a rate of over 400 per week!
Russell said: “We are big football fans. We are originally from Liverpool but we’ve lived down here for about 18 or 19 years. We’ve been to MK Dons a few times, we like the atmosphere and the whole experience is brilliant.
“We thought, with the team making it into the Championship, we’d get a season ticket. I coach the team my lad plays for – Flitwick Eagles – so it’s nice to play and watch football together, this gives us that opportunity at a great price.
“We can’t wait – they are all going to be really exciting matches to enjoy!”
Jason said: “It’s too expensive to watch Premier League football! I’ve just missed football and it’s been years since I’ve watched it live, but it’s available here on our doorstep and at a fantastic price! We’re hoping for an exciting season.”
