Samir sets sights on Oldham

17 March 2015

Samir Carruthers believes a victory tonight at Oldham Athletic will make Saturday’s point an important one.

The Dons travel to Greater Manchester this evening to do battle with the Latics and should they come away with a victory, they would have taken four points from two games – a target Carruthers and the team have been aiming for.

“Our aim at the start of the season if we’ve got two games in a week was to get four points,” Carruthers told MK Dons Player after the 1-1 draw with Walsall. “So if we go to Oldham and get a win then (the Walsall point) will be a valuable one.

“We just need to find a win. We’re still in a good position and we are still pushing for second – we need to keep believing in ourselves and keep going.

“We didn’t play to our normal standards throughout (on Saturday) but that will come. We showed great character after going 1-0 down and our goal showed what we are all about.”

Tickets for tonight's clash at Oldham Athletic are available to buy from the Club until midday and also tonight at the the ground - prices are £22 for adults, £12 for over-65s, £10 for under-16s and £5 for under-12s.
