Ben Reeves will be out of action for the rest of the season with a calf problem.
The Dons’ No.10 sustained the injury whilst away on international duty with Northern Ireland.
Reeves has since returned to England and undergone a period of assessment by the Club's medical team, which has subsequently led him to being sidelined for the final stages of the 2014/15 campaign.
Karl Robinson said: “I’m gutted, especially as it means we are without another important player after having lost Benik (Afobe) in January and then Dele (Alli) and Dave (Martin) also through injury in recent months.
“These things test your resolve but the players are 100% determined and ready to give everything they’ve got in the run-in.
“You, the fans, also have a hugely vital role to play – continue backing the team as magnificently as you have all season and, together, hopefully we can achieve our aim.”
