Reeves: Keep right on it

20 March 2015

Ben Reeves is hopeful the Dons have turned a corner as they look to build on two positive results away from home.

The men from MK1 took four points from trips to Walsall and Oldham Athletic to stay within touching distance of the automatic promotion places in Sky Bet League 1, heading into Saturday’s clash with Notts County at stadiummk.

“It was good performance from us on Tuesday and, to be fair, it’s been coming,” Reeves told MK Dons Player. “There has been a lot of hard work put in over the last few weeks and even when we haven’t got the results, the hard work has been there.

“Hopefully now we’re back on track - it seems like the buzz is back in training and everyone’s got that bit more confidence. We’re looking to get on another run and we’re working as hard as ever to do that.

He continued: “Personally, I feel like I’m getting back to where I was. I felt like I’d been working hard but things just weren’t coming off, but recently I think I’ve got back into form and hopefully that continues.”

Saturday will be Reeves’ final game before he and teammate Will Grigg join up with the Northern Ireland for the international friendly with Scotland and Euro 2016 qualifier against Finland.

“It’s great to be called up – there are two games as well so hopefully I can get a bit of time on the pitch. The qualifiers are important so it’s going to be a tough week.

“Griggy’s my roommate while I’m there so that’s alright – sometimes, anyway!”

Tickets for Saturday's Family Fun Day clash with Notts County will be available to buy right up until kick-off priced from just £10 for adults and £1 for under-18s.
