MK Dons Ladies lifted the BBFA Womens County Cup for the second successive season after a 2-0 victory over Maidenhead United on Sunday.
The Dons, who won the Cup in 2013/14, retained the local title thanks to two first-half goals from Charly Wright and Chloe Smith at Abingdon United’s North Court Stadium.
Tony O’Neill’s side made it through their County Cup campaign without conceding a single goal while, at the other end, netting an impressive 18 times.
Attention for the Ladies now turns to their FAWPL South East Division One league season – they currently sit two points adrift of the leaders in second place, with five games remaining.
