Karl Robinson believes his side’s recent turnaround has given everybody a lift heading into the final eight games of the season.
“To take seven points from three games, having taken none from the three before that, is a remarkable turnaround,” Robinson told MK Dons Player after the 4-1 triumph over County at stadiummk.
“The whole group deserve an awful lot of credit because it’s been a tough month for us. We’re only going to get better as well because players are getting back to full fitness.
“(Saturday) was a really dominant performance by everyone involved. We were ruthless from the start and had 13 shots to their one - which wasn’t even on target - in the first half.
He continued: “We’re now four points behind second with Preston North End drawing, so that gives us a bit of a lift. There is an awful lot of football still to be played and all we can do is worry about what we do.”
