Karl Robinson says his players will need the fans more than ever on Saturday as they look to bounce back against Preston North End.
“Let’s not discard our chances after the last two results,” Robinson told MK Dons Player. “We’re still in a great position and for us to have the amount of points we do already is a remarkable achievement by this group of players.
“Our fans have been fantastic but the players need them more than ever right now. This team has really put Milton Keynes on the map this season and it would be a disappointment if we let that fade away.
He continued: “The last two games have gone and we can’t change them but we can use them as both motivation and a learning curve – we’ll do exactly that.
“We’ve got a lot of games still to play. You almost have to view these last 12 games as a ‘mini season’ and if we finish top in this ‘mini season’ then we’ll go up.”
As well as working around the clock to prepare his side for Saturday’s clash against Preston, Robinson has also taken time to look back on what has been an already-memorable 2014/15 campaign.
“I’ve been able to really reflect on the season. We have been blessed with some wonderful moments and they’ve surely got to outweigh some of the negativity from the other night.
“If we can rekindle that kind of form we showed earlier in the season now, then we will put ourselves back in a really strong position.”
Tickets for the Dons' clash with Preston will be on sale right up until kick-off on Saturday, priced at £20 for adults, £15 for seniors, £6 for U18s and FREE for U12s - there are also discounted prices available for disabled supporters!
