Hodson joins up with NI

23 March 2015

Lee Hodson has been called up to the Northern Ireland squad for their two international fixtures this week.

The right back replaces Dundee United midfielder Paul Paton, who has withdrawn because of a knee injury.

He joins Dons teammates Will Grigg and Ben Reeves, selected in the initial squad, for the friendly with Scotland on Wednesday evening and the Euro 2016 qualifier against Finland on Sunday.

As a result of the Dons’ three international call-ups, the fixture with Doncaster Rovers, originally set for this Saturday, has been postponed.

Loanee Lewis Baker is another away on international duty with England Under-20s but youth loans do not count towards the three players required for a League 1 match to be rescheduled.
