The Dons delivered another stunning performance as they cruised to a Club record victory over Colchester United.
Karl Robinson’s men led 3-0 at the break thanks to an outstanding effort from Dele Alli and a brace from Benik Afobe.
Afobe then scored his 18th goal of the campaign to wrap up his first career hat-trick just before the hour mark.
Ben Reeves made it 5-0 from the penalty spot midway through the second half, and Lee Hodson put the icing on the cake in injury-time with a superb curling effort.
MK Dons: Martin; Spence, Kay, McFadzean (Flanagan 68), Hodson; Potter (c), Alli (Green 63); Baker (Grigg 73), Reeves, Powell; Afobe.

Karl Robinson: “It was (the perfect afternoon),” Robinson told MK Dons Player. “I know Benik (Afobe) will get all the credit but I was pleased with the performances of all the players.
“The whole team deserves to take a bow. It’s a day we’ll remember but we should try and build upon it – use it as a motivation to push ourselves to bigger and better things.”
