Dons’ support reaches India

19 June 2015

The Dons’ fan base continues to grow...even as far as India!

Ellie Sherriff and her boyfriend James, both season ticket holders at stadiummk, have provided mkdons.com with the above photo of Shishir Korde from a city called Thane in Mumbai.

Ellie told mkdons.com: “Shishir came over to England for a month this year. He has always wanted to visit England and was over the moon when we asked if he would like to attend a few Dons matches.

“Being a huge football fan himself, he had always wanted to go to a  proper game after seeing so many on TV - he was also lucky enough to be with us for our final promotion game!

“We bought Shishir a Dons shirt and asked him to send us a photo from Mumbai so that we could share with all the Dons fans!”

Do you know anybody overseas who supports the Dons? If so, send a picture and story to ben.campbell@mkdons.com and it could feature on mkdons.com as well!

Overseas-based Dons fans are being asked to ‘Stand Up and Be Counted’ and those who do could be in with a chance of winning a trip to come and see Karl Robinson’s men play!

By registering their support for a club, fans have the chance to enter a prize draw to win a trip for two to the United Kingdom, including flights, accommodation and match tickets to see their team play.
